Compact, high output heater (150W):

Alarm function (Pat. P)

When the soldering iron is left in contact with the component being soldered past the time set, this alarm sounds. This function prevents inexperienced operators from overheating the component, helping quality control.

•  RX-852AS starts the soldering-time count down, when the tip temperature exceeds the set parameter.
•  The alarm sounds after the soldering-time present is reached. The display will also flash twice at this point.
•  Lift the tip from the component being soldered when the alarm sounds.
  
  

Calibration function (Patent Pending)

Differences between tip thermometer temperature and displayed temperature are easily corrected by inputting the offset value.

Sleep Function

Automatic switch-off when inactive for a present period of time, preventing overheating.

Sleep Release Function

(Pat. P) The sleep function is excited by thermal fluctuation of the tip, for example, when the tip comes into contact with the cleaner or sponge.

Shutdown Function

Automatically switches off when inactive for a present period of time. The shutdown function assures that the station is turned off even if you forget to turn off the power switch. This function can be used in conjunction with the sleep function.
